Nexsan has officially launched the Nexsan VHR-Series, a new enterprise-grade Hardened Repository appliance created to enhance security and backup performance within Veeam Software environments. Designed specifically to combat rising cyber risks like ransomware and insider threats, the platform delivers end-to-end data immutability, high-speed recovery, and stringent security controls to ensure business continuity.
To streamline implementation and lower deployment risks, the VHR-Series arrives preloaded with Veeam Hardened Repository ISO software. The architecture is engineered to provide industry-leading recovery time objectives, allowing organizations to bring critical systems back online quickly following an outage or incident. Hardware resilience is further bolstered by battery cache data protection, which protects unwritten data during sudden power loss. In addition, the platform achieves DISA STIG compliance, meeting military-grade hardening standards established by the Defense Information Systems Agency.
Alongside the official release, the new line achieved Veeam Ready Appliance status, confirming that the hardware satisfies Veeam functional and performance metrics while integrating seamlessly into the Veeam Data Platform. Every model comes backed by a standard global five-year support warranty, supported by GA-tested and certified configurations.
“The VHR-Series delivers the backbone for secure, compliant and resilient Veeam infrastructure at a cost-effective price,” said Vincent Phillips, CEO of Nexsan. “With a usable capacity range from 64TB to 3.3PB and seamless scalability through integration with Nexsan’s proven E-Series expansion shelves, the VHR-Series offers a flexible solution for organizations of all sizes – from mid-market to petabyte-scale enterprises – and is a continuation of Nexsan’s 26-year history of bringing industry-leading solutions to market.”
The VHR-Series is designed to suit a broad spectrum of enterprise requirements, serving sectors such as healthcare and digital surveillance. Available through Nexsan’s global network of technology partners, solution providers, and OEMs, the appliance provides organizations with a scalable foundation to protect core data assets against modern operational risks.
