CrowdStrike is expanding Project QuiltWorks to small and midsize businesses through a new group of distributors, marketplaces and managed security partners.
Arrow Electronics, Ignition Technology, Nord Security, Pax8, TD SYNNEX, Westcon-Comstor and Zip Security are participating in the expansion, giving QuiltWorks a broader route into SMB environments worldwide.
The initiative is designed to address cybersecurity risks created as advanced AI models make vulnerability discovery and exploitation increasingly automated.
Frontier AI Changes Vulnerability Management
CrowdStrike says advanced AI can allow adversaries to discover, combine and exploit vulnerabilities more quickly and at greater scale.
Project QuiltWorks combines AI-driven vulnerability discovery and adversary-informed prioritization from CrowdStrike with capabilities from a wider security ecosystem.
The program uses frontier models from OpenAI and Anthropic, remediation services from systems integrators, AWS infrastructure and financial protection from cyber insurance providers.
The CrowdStrike Falcon platform provides the underlying security technology.
MSPs Bring the Model to Smaller Companies
The latest expansion is focused heavily on managed service providers and the technology channel.
Many SMBs do not have the internal security teams required to operate advanced vulnerability discovery and remediation programs independently.
Distributors including Pax8 and TD SYNNEX already support large ecosystems of MSPs serving smaller organizations, giving CrowdStrike a way to deliver QuiltWorks capabilities through existing managed service relationships.
CrowdStrike says the approach can provide smaller organizations with AI-assisted vulnerability discovery, prioritization, remediation expertise and cyber risk support without requiring them to build enterprise-scale security operations internally.
